Looking for Home Exchanges

We are a retired couple who have been living in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico for 12 years and have done over 20 home exchanges. This site is for potential home exchangers to see pictures of our home and San Miguel.

San Miguel is a World Heritage Site located approximately 175 miles NW of Mexico City at an altitude of about 6800 feet. The weather is pleasant all year around but with seasons. From November to May is is very dry with little to no rain. It is chilly at night during December and January with occasional frosts overnight. However, the sun is warm during the day - rising into the 70's. April and May are the warmest months with temperatures rising at times into the low 90's but cooling into the 50's or low 60's at night. The rains come and it is lovely with everything turning green and perfect temperatures and low humidity and resfreshing rain showers usually in the afternoon or over night. About Us

We have lived in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico for about 14 years.  We moved here from Missouri - west of Kansas City.  Jeannie grew up in Chicago while John grew up in Missouri.  Jeannie first visited San Miguel in 1970 and lived there for a year in 1972.  After retiring, they moved to San Miguel and began doing home exchanges in 2002.  We have now completed over 25 home exchanges in the US, other parts of Mexico, Germany, Spain, Australia and New Zealand.  We will continue to do exchanges as long as we are able.  It is a wonderful way to travel and a great philosophy.
